The fuse for my dash and night runner lights blow and replaced the fuse about 4 or 5 times then the wiring caught on fire that was 6 months ago got it fixed and now my dash and night runners lights have stop working again changed the fuse and they are not working still and i cant move the shifter this car isn't safe anymore and i need a safe car for my daughter and i. *js

This complaint is concerning clarification of our previous complaints to nhtsa regarding the 2000 ford focus : #10104088 and #10107840. I am extremely concerned about the misinterpretation of data collected by your agency and posted for public review. Deaths are not posted, nor are they included as injuries. This misrepresents the seriousness of the vehicle and equipment failures reported. *jb

The dome light blew out inside the vehicle's compartment. Following that, a factory installed security system for the door locks began to perform erratically. Doors prevented entry from the outside and exit from the inside, except for the hatchback. Even if the door locks were pushed they failed to open. *ak *nm
