On jan 4, 2003 while driving in the fog at a low speed of approximately 30 miles or a little less the airbags in my 2001 ford focus intermittently deployed causing the windshield to break and throwing us and the car up on a meridian. The airbags were emitting black smoke and the damage to the bottom of the car amount to $6188.00. Fortunately, we were not seriously hurt and there was no other vehicle involved.
